Ajay Kumar Shukla, M.D. earned his medical degree at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He completed his residency in neurology at University of Missouri where he earned an Outstanding Resident Physician award. After, he went on to complete his fellowship at Vanderbilt Medical Center in clinical neurophysiology. Dr. Shukla has been a Director of Neurology at many hospitals and has served as faculty at many schools including Duke and UCONN. At UCONN he earned a Letter of Commendation from the Department of Neurology for Best Teacher of the M3 Clerkship in Neurology. Dr. Shukla’s most recent position was at Norwalk Hospital where he simultaneously taught at a Yale affiliated internal medicine program.
