A South Carolina Death Row inmate has chosen to die by firing squad, which would be the first time this method is used in America since 2010.

Drexel, a 17-year-old from Rochester, New York, was last seen walking down Myrtle Beach’s Ocean Boulevard on April 26, 2009.

Condemned South Carolina inmate Brad Sigmon has chosen to die next month by a firing squad, a method of execution that has not been used in the U.S. in 15 years. Sigmon is scheduled to die on March 7.
