These flies are based upon those sometimes issued with wall tents to US forces in WWII, specifically QMC Stock Nos. 24-F-150 (small) and 24-F-140 (large). While not a stitch for stitch recreation of the original tents, these look and behave like the originals while using the superior construction methods Tentsmiths is known for.
