2011年11月11日 · Yes, there is smoke coming from the oil filler tube and the road draft tube at the rear of the block-----BUT THERE IS ALSO SEVERE BLOWBY! Blowby doesn't come from bad valve guides. Blowby is a result of cylinder pressure getting into the crankcase.

2011年10月10日 · As state dabove, blowby is unburned fuel vapor that has found its way past the rings and into the crankcase. Nearly every engine, especially street engines with some miles on them, will have some amount of blowby and for the most part it's pretty harmless. At least as long as the crankcase is properly vented.

Blow by is caused by worn, broken or sticking rings. It's a condition where exhaust gas leaks past the piston, into the crankcase. If severe enough, sufficient pressure can build in the crankcase...

2005年8月2日 · "On the spitting oil problem, it sounds like the engine has internal pressure due to blow by of the rings. I would try to do a thorough cleaning of the PCV system as it should be relieving this pressure. If you have the origninal engine it could mean that the internal "can" under the intake manifold is partially plugged.

2012年7月26日 · Recheck the ignition timing, if it has become retarded the engine can run hotter and be less responsive. The timing curve is very important so be sure the distributor is set up correctly.
