Alune is the twin sister of Aphelios, a seer of the moon and a member of the Lunari. She currently lives in the Marus Omegnum, also known as 4 The Veiled Temple, a Lunari temple in the Spirit Realm.

Alune is the twin sister of Aphelios, a seer of the moon and a member of the Lunari. She currently lives in the Marus Omegnum, also known as 4 The Veiled Temple, a Lunari temple in the Spirit Realm.

Aphelios' journey from early concept to creation was a long one.

Alune smites the area centered on the illuminated enemy, dealing physical damage and locking-on to each enemy hit. After a delay, attacks will begin raining from the sky based on Aphelios' current main weapon, one upon each enemy locked-on by Moonlight Vigil, applying on-hit effects.

This is the first time that Alune is presented as an independent playable character, distinct from Aphelios. Her ability uses Diana's Crescent Strike 's icon.

Alune and Aphelios' markings are closer to a gibbous moon to signify that the Lunari growing in power again. They're divided to symbolize, when together they have the power to rival an aspect. Aphelios and Alune visual design was intended to push the limits of the visual design of Mount Targon and represents something new.
