Hey i know this is old, but others also might be wondering about the hauling of a quad in t ford ranger. I have a Honda Foreman 450 that i am able to haul in my 1999 ford ranger, tailgate stays down as it is just a tad to long wth my tires. I have to place 6x6 boards infront of the front tires to allow the winch room, and not to hit my window.
