John Constantine, Hellblazer is an American contemporary horror comic-book series published by DC Comics since January 1988, and subsequently by its Vertigo imprint since March 1993, when the imprint was introduced.

John Constantine has lost his freedom and must adapt to life behind bars. Sentenced to a maximum-security penitentiary, the Hellblazer soon learns that there is a whole different set of rules to live and die by within the prison walls.

Hellblazer was an ongoing occult-noir comic book series featuring the hard-luck hero, John Constantine. The series began publication in July of 1988 and ended with issue #300, and is a spin-off from Swamp Thing Vol 2.
