It's about quality, not quantity. The way to avoid errors is not endless rote memorization and practice...it is by improving your concentration and perception. This is done by intensity of effort, not duration. If you're concentration is normal (e.g. you aren't checking your phone mid calculation) then the problem is probably your perception.

For my exams, I know my content well, I know how to do the questions but I just can't stop making every possible stupid mistake I can make. It's ranges from simple arithmetic calculation errors, rewriting the question wrongly, reading the question wrongly ... etc...

The only way to stop making mistakes is to stop doing math entirely (although that too may be a mistake!). You can reduce the number of mistakes by practice, adopting good habits, and finding ways of doing things that you tend not to mess up.
