Ant lion traps are innocuous looking, but don’t be fooled. Any little bug that passes by gets caught in its slippery slope and the ant lion, with its lobster looking claws, grabs its victim and sucks the life out of it in seconds. Ant lions are skilled predators in the insect world. I tried to allow Mother Nature to take its course as I filmed, but couldn’t stand by and let it happen. I got a stick and finally got the ant victim out. I didn’t get it filmed, but saved one ant. #thenakedrancher #n
