From above, you can see that despite their efforts to kick without fins, they’re pulled slightly backward by the current. After jumping off their boards in an attempt to to swim to shore, our @lacolifeguards were already in the water to safely pull both victims back in and educate them on how to avoid a similar situation in the future. | Los Angeles County Fire Department, Lifeguard Division
