This is a little tip, but if you’re faithful with it and patient, it *could yield a bit more milk. A student asked me about it last week, so I wanted to get it out here for you, too. This is all about the letdown setting on your pump. If your pump is “biphasic” - which many electric pumps are - this means it has a let-down/stimulate phase and an expression phase. Most pumps start in the let down phase and then switch over after about 2 minutes. These two phases try to mimic what a baby would do
