A very kind couple reached out to us about a loose domestic rat on their patio they'd seen off and on for a couple weeks. They suspected he was a domestic rat, and feared for his safety, knowing he couldn't survive out there long with the heat and feral cats and coyotes. They were giving him food and water and even planned to try and live trap him for us (why can't all people be so awesome?) Fortunately, we drove out this morning and I was able to grab him! Poor guy is thin and has some wounds,
